Maurício Alchorne has more than 30 years of experience in the medical area, with qualifications in Economics and Law. Acting as a consultant for Costa da Silva & Fernandes Rocha Advogados in the area of Medical Law, Biolaw, Business Law and Data Protection in the Health sector, he is engaged in deontological processes, regulatory issues, preparation of medical and hospital service agreements, medical expert examination and audit, medical-hospital accounts audit, authorization of medical procedures and civil liability of health professionals.
Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo in 1989, with a specialization degree in General Surgery and Trauma Surgery. In 2000, he obtained the title of specialist in Health Administration from the Brazilian Medical Association and the Federal Council of Medicine, when he was already working in the Management of Hospitals and Health Plan Operators.
In 2013, he graduated in Economics from the School of Economics and Administration of the University of São Paulo. Also graduated from the Law School of the University of São Paulo in 2018, obtaining his registration with the Brazilian Bar Association that same year.
Throughout his career, he has held executive positions at leading companies in the sector, and since 1999, he has participated in the Medical Ethics Committees and the Center for Bioethics of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
To contribute to the dissemination of legal knowledge in the health area, Maurício is a lecturer and professor in courses in Biolaw and Health Business Law areas.
